Questions About Free Trial Lesson

Do I need my own piano for the trial lesson?

Not for the trial! However, if you decide to continue with regular lessons, access to a piano for practice is recommended.

Is the first lesson really free?

Absolutely! There’s no cost and no obligation. It’s my way of helping you make an informed decision about piano lessons.

How do I prepare?

Just come as you are! No preparation needed.

What happens after the trial lesson?

We’ll discuss which lesson duration and lesson package suits you the best and scheduling if you’d like to continue. There’s absolutely no pressure—the choice is entirely yours.

Can parents sit in on kids' lessons?

Absolutely! Parents are welcome to observe, especially for younger children.

Is any musical experience required for a trial lesson?

No, you don’t need any experience at all! Beginners are very welcome to start learning to play piano. Let me tell you a secret – we were all beginners once.

What about the literature for my lessons?

If you are a beginner, during the first few lessons I try out different methods, books and approaches to find the suitable method or book for you, and I will gladly recommend which book to buy.

If you already have experience playing the piano, I will recommend musical pieces that suit you.

Cancellations of the scheduled lesson must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. For later cancellations, the full lesson price will be charged and this lesson will be treated as completed.

The lesson will not be counted as completed and a new date/time will be arranged.

What if I don't want to attend lessons anymore?

  • In case of individual lessons, the contract can be terminated after each lesson by either party.
  • In case of the package, the contract can be terminated by either party at any time with 14 days’ written notice. Appointments already agreed within the notice period must be paid by the terminating party or attended. The remaining lessons from the package will be refunded.
